Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing support, administration, design and development, and maintenance for the ServiceNow platform implemented for the corporate enterprise.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains complex ServiceNow module configurations and services, and ServiceNow workflows.
  • Automation of routine tasks through ServiceNow including design, creation, and administration of key components such as: Forms, Workflows, Catalog Items, Metrics, Service Level Agreements, Reports, Dashboards.
  • Load, transform, and maintain data interfaces between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Verifies complex business requirements and estimates work effort required through to implementation.
  • Fulfill Service Requests assigned to the group within the scope of support.
  • Develop and maintain clear and concise technical and process documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to ServiceNow System Administrators within the team

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or any IT related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and system administration.
  • ServiceNow System Admin certification (Administrator or higher) and related training including ITIL.
  • Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, including the creation and/or customization of core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB and Asset Management.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
  • Experience in patching and upgrading ServiceNow to recent releases ,including use of development and staging environments for validation before promotion to production.
  • Experience implementing integrations of ServiceNow to external systems with knowledge of common integration techniques, including ServiceNow Integration Hub
  • Experience in Active Directory/LDAP and SSO integration.
  • Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow data model and relationships.
  • Experience developing process documentation and driving ongoing process improvements
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to function independently as well as work in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues.
  • Experience in JavaScript, REST and SOAP API.
