Overview

The Recruiter- Contact Center and Support is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for customer service, technical support, and other similar positions within a contact center environment. Skills often required for these roles include effective communication, knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms, the ability to assess customer service skills, and the capability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various platforms (job boards, social media, networking, and internal databases) to find qualified technical talent.
  • Review resumes and applications to evaluate qualifications, skills, and experience for technical roles.
  • Conduct recruiting, interview and hiring for retention and customer service, supervisory, and administrative positions as required by the organization.
  • Assess technical skills and cultural fit through phone screenings, technical interviews, and behavioral interviews.
  • Partner, collaborate, and calibrate with hiring managers and department leaders to understand job requirements, define candidate profiles, and refine the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate interviews, schedule meetings, and communicate feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Extend job offers, negotiate compensation packages, and onboard new hires.
  • Administer and coordinate internal job postings and transfers
  • Maintain and help create job descriptions.

Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume recruiting environment in contact center, support roles including technology recruiting
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Ability to assess skills, knowledge, and qualifications through interviews and assessments
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple openings at once.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management
  • Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • PC skills; knowledge of MS Office.
